About FLhair FLhair Xtensions

Q & A
FLhair™ Xtensions Compairison to other methods

1. What type of hair is used?

100% First Choice Remy Hair European Textured

2. What Seperates FLhair™ Xtensions from all other methods in the industry?

The uniqueness of FLhair™ Xtensions is fourfold

  1. Consistent quality Remy Human Hair

  2. Our advanced Micro-cylinder shell design. Small, weightless and strong

  3. Each shell’s interior is coated with a Silicone compound to protect the hair from compression stress.

  4. The outer shell is colored coordinated to match the hair color for truly sightless
    gentle dependable connections.

3. How are FLhair™ Xtensions applied?

Our extensions are attached strand by strand. The clients hair is passed through our advanced micro-cylinder shell. Once the proper placement is achieved, the shell is compressed to create a connection between the clients hair and the extension hair. No Glue, heat, chemicals, sewing or tracks.Flhair Xtensions

Special Note: Be cautious of companies requiring the purchase of expensive equipment and marketing materials or any methods that use new innovative words to disguise materials such as glue, heat activation, thermal plastics, wax’s or chemicals.

4. How long does it take to apply FLhair™ Xtensions?

With FLhair™ Xtensions the application that will become the foundation of the hair style will vary based on the individual client. On average a full head of extensions can be achieved with 160 strands. Skill levels will delegate the actual time between 2-3 hours.

5. Will hair extensions damage my hair?

Hair extensions for all practical purposes will not damage hair. But that can not be said for the various application and attachment methods. As an example, a strand by strand compression connection method is much more hair friendly then methods that incorporate the use of heat, glue, chemicals, sewing lines and track systems.

6. How long will FLhair™ Xtensions last?

Basic hair and scalp anatomy and physiology will be the determining factors. Unlike other companies, we suggest that extensions be worn for no longer than 3 months or 1 ½ inches of the clients hair growth, whichever comes first. As with any hair extension method daily shedding, if not removed bi-monthly, may result in severe tangling at the base of the scalp area. FLhair Xtensions

7. Can FLhair™ Xtensions hair be re-used?

Of course the hair itself could be used again, however after application of individual strands into the client’s hair the next step is proper blending. “Cutting in” the extensions is necessary in order to complete the finished design. It is impossible to remove strand by strand extensions and place them in their original position.  The original completed style could never be duplicated by using the previously cut extensions.

8.  Are the extensions easy to remove?

FLhair™ Xtensions removal is quick and easy. Our Advanced Compression Technology is immediately reversible without creating any damage or hair loss, usually associated with other extension methods that use glue, heat, chemicals, sewing lines or tracks.
