self-esteem. I like to joke that we were all born with healthy
self-esteem, but somewhere along the line something happened to
temper that positive self-image. I think it's called REALITY.
Whatever the reason or the cause, life is too short to walk
around feeling low. A friend of mine used to characterize the
New Year as an ideal time to celebrate a new day and a new way. Thats
my theme this month; that's what inspired me to write. You're
never too old and its never too late to makeover yourself and
you don't have to do on TV or under the knife to achieve your

morning news shows had a segment on hair replacement. I watched
it with great interest as the reporter profiled all these
wonderful new surgical solutions-solutions that obviously were
dramatically better than non-surgical solutions judging by the
tone of the story. Finally, the report got on to the subject of
hair replacements and how human hair was the only option
according to some expert in New York City. According to this
guy, only hair harvested from healthy Italians (it's the
Mediterranean diet) with a good sex life makes good fiber for
